The study of marine organisms and their habitats is known as marine biology. Various fields are associated with marine biology i.e., Chemical, Physical and geological oceanography, studying all these fields help biologists to understand marine organisms. Marine biology classifies organisms based on the environment they exist rather that taxonomy. Marine life consumes the major part of life on Earth and is a vast resource, providing food, medicine, and raw materials, in addition to helping to support recreation and tourism all over the world. The Earth’s climate and the oxygen cycle in the atmosphere are regulated by marine organisms. The marine consists of organisms ranging from a very minute microscopic phytoplankton and zooplankton to huge cetaceans (whales) 25–32 meters (82–105 feet) in length.
Marine Science and Biology bring together research that focuses within marine system, marine organisms, their living habitats and their role in helping the environment, climate change, oceanography and aquaculture. The journal is committed to provide quality empirical research and scholarly review articles.
Marine Science and Biology aims to serve as a global platform for the latest research about the marine organisms, their behaviors and interactions with the environment and the latest discoveries, the living habitats and the ocean ecosystem, human interactions with the oceans, advances in technology to protect biodiversity and to create sustainable seafood sources.
