J. P. Barford

Biography:

Dr. J.P. Barford received his Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales. Later he served as a research scientist for 1 year in Central Research Institute, Japan then he became an associate professor in Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Sydney. He worked as a visiting professor at Universities of Hongkong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Currently, he is working as an associate professor in Department of Chemical Engineering, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Clear Water Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong. He is an active member of many international committees. He had major publications in reputed journals and attended many international conferences where he presented more than 180 papers.

Research Interests:

His research interests focuses on mathematical modelling of Biochemical / wastewater systems, metabolic engineering, bioadsorption, biofiltration, adsorption, chemical engineering education, HAZOP and Safety.
