JOURNAL OF WATER TECHNOLOGY AND TREATMENT METHODS (ISSN: 2517-7427)

Dorota Kulikowsa

Biography:

I am currently working as associate professor at the Department of Environmental Biotechnology at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland). I received PhD degree in environmental engineering at Warsaw University of Technology, then completed habilitation at Lublin University of Technology, also in environmental engineering. I have published many articles in reputable journals. I am a member of national and international research committees.

Research Interests:

My research interest mainly focuses on three areas 1. Development of wastewater treatment methods (systems with suspended biomass and systems with attached growth biomass; use of waste products as external carbon sources during nitrogen removal from wastewater with low C/N ratio; landfill leachate treatment), 2. Waste management (sewage sludge composting; biological stabilization of municipal waste), remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals (soil washing; soil flushing).
