Biography:
Yao Sun completed his Ph.D. from Stanford University and Wuhan University in the Department of Radiology, Bio-X and Molecular Imaging Program and his Master Degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Currently, he is working as a Professor in Centre Normal University, Department of chemical biology. Yao Sun also acts as a reviewer for several manuscripts. He published many papers in national and international Journals.
Research Interests:
- His research interest, includes Development of novel small molecular scaffold and effective chemical strategy to construct multifunctional imaging probes for non-invasive detection of cancer and its metastasis at the earliest stage.
- Development of a novel reagent or catalyst for bioconjugation reaction and cell labeling.
- Development of novel biosensor for high sensitivity detection of DNA sequence and small molecules, proteins and ions.
