Biography:
Dr. Saturnino Carmela has completed her graduation in pharmacy and post graduation Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Naples. She completed her PhD from University of Naples in pharmaceutical sciences. She was awarded many scholarships for her research in the field of pharmacy. She is currently serving as a professor in the Department of Sciences and Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Basilicata. She has published many articles in some reputable journals. She is an active member of many international societies and attended many international conferences.
Research Interests:
Her research interests mainly focuses on design, Synthesis and biological studies and understanding of the mechanisms of action of new therapeutic molecules for: cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, antimicrobial agents.
