Dr. Qian Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in Pulmonary Medicine from Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, P.R. China (2010). He worked as a visiting scholar in the Department of Internal Medicine at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. Currently, He is working as Associate Chief Physician and Director in the Department of Respiratory Medicine from Nanjing Medical University, China. He is the author of some peer-reviewed articles published in national and International Journals. He has received many national and international Awards/ Honors including “Research on polymorphisms and clinical phenotypes of asthma”, the third prize for scientific and technological progress, 2011, Zhenjiang City (Ranking second) “Immunological mechanisms of asthma and prevention and control with monomer of Chinese traditional herbs”, the first prize for scientific and technological progress, 2011, Jiangsu province bureau of traditional Chinese medicine (Ranking eighth).
“Predicting the risk and severity of bronchial asthma via detecting the polymorphisms in Toll-like receptors and related genes”, the first prize for the introduction of new technology, 2012, Changzhou Municipal Health Administration (Ranking first). Changzhou Principal Innovational Investigator of Medicine, Cultural Object of Changzhou “831 projects” and etc.
His research interests focuses on Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Molecular Biology and Immunology.
