Dr. Li Ma is an instructor in the Cardiovascular Research Institute of Morehouse School of Medicine. She received a MD degree in medicine from Wannan Medical College and a PhD degree in biomedical science from Morehouse School of Medicine. In 2015, she joined the faculty at Cardiovascular Research Institute in Atlanta formed by Harvard investigators led by the founding director Gary Gibbons. She has many publications in national and international journals.
Her research intrest, mainly focuses on Genomic medicine of cardiovascular disease and associated complications and ethnic disparity. Technological development of high-through put methods technology. We apply these novel technologies to single cell genomics, epigenomics, personal genomes and human common diseases.
