Dr. Zineb Mejdoub is completing her Doctor of Biochemistry and Environmental Studies at Hassan II University in 2018. Her primary area of expertise is monitoring and pollution prevention. From 2012 to 2018, she was a PhD student researcher in Health & Environment Laboratory. Her dissertation work aimed to study the metallic contamination of Casablanca coastal (Morocco) by using the indigenous mussels Mytilus galloprovincialis as a bioindicators of pollution. She focused to assess the metallic bioaccumulation and bioavailability and the oxidative stress responses of the mussels exposed to outfalls pollution. Her researches includes chemical, biochemical analysis and ecotoxicological approaches.
