Biography:

Dr. Brandon Lucke-Wold graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University with a BS in Neuroscience and distinction in honors. He later completed his MD/PhD, Master's in Clinical and Translational Research, and the Global Health Track at West Virginia University School of Medicine, where he focused on research related to traumatic brain injury, neurosurgical simulation, and stroke. Additionally, he co-founded biotechnology company Wright-Wold Scientific and pharmaceutical company CTE cure, and was a science advocate on Capitol Hill through the Washington Fellow's program.

During his time at West Virginia University, Brandon held numerous leadership positions, such as president of several chapters, including the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, Neurosurgery Interest group, and Erlenmeyer Initiative Entrepreneur group. He was also an active member of several honor societies, including the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Currently, he is a Pgy5 neurosurgery resident at the University of Florida, pursuing endovascular enfolded training and serving on several committees.

Research Interests:

Dr. Brandon Lucke-Wold's research interests include traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, ischemic stroke, and neurosurgery simulation. He is also involved in lab animal tracking and inventory, developing pharmaceutical treatments for neurotrauma and subarachnoid hemorrhage, as well as diagnostics for post-operative urinary retention.
