Bin Zheng

Biography:

Bin Zheng received his PhD of Electrical Engineering from University of Delaware. After working in Imaging Research Center, Department of Radiology, University of Pittsburgh for 20 years from a postdoc research associate to a Professor of Radiology, he joined faculty of University of Oklahoma as a Professor in School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and an Oklahoma TSET Cancer Research Scholar at Stephenson Cancer Center. His primary research field is to develop and evaluate new computer-aided quantitative biomedical image processing and feature analysis schemes aiming for prediction of cancer risk, detection and diagnosis of tumors and early assessment of cancer prognosis. Since 1998, he has served as Principal Investigator in 5 R01, one R21 research projects awarded by National Cancer Institute.
