Biography:

Sawsan Abuhamdah received her Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology, Durham University, 2007, M.SC in Pharmaceutical sciences, University of Jordan, B.SC. Pharmacy, University of Jordan. Her Research Interests are Neuropharmacology, Neurosciences, ion channels, Alzheimer’s, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. Neuroprotective approaches for neurodegenerative diseases, drug abuse and Addiction. In vivo behavioural (learning/memory; anxiety). Isolation, identification and biological evaluation of plants secondary metabolites for CNS. She is member of British Pharmacological Society (BPS), U.K since, A member in British Neuroscience Association (BNA), U.K since 2003, A member in Federation of Neuroscience Societies (FENS), A member in Society of Neuroscience (SFN), USA, since 2012.

Research Interests:

Her research interests mainly focus on Neuropharmacology, Neurosciences, Ion channels, Alzheimer’s, Epilepsy & Parkinson’s disease. Neuroprotective approaches for neurodegenerative diseases, drug abuse.
