Ishtiaq Qadri has received his PhD in University of London during the period of 1988. Currently, he is working as Professor and Head of Medical Biotechnology & Translational Research at King Abdul Aziz University in Saudi Arabia. He is a recipient of over 30 international R&D and P&D grants. He is a member of European Society of Virology. He is investigating the underlying potential mechanism(s) that govern the genesis of cancer and abnormal cell's ability to infiltrate and destroy normal body tissue. The particular focus is on hepatic cancer stem cells, molecular biology and life cycle of hepatitis B and C Viruses.
