Motoi Kato has completed his degree from La Salle High School (Kagoshima, JAPAN) and a doctorate in medicine from Kagoshima University. He is currently working in Saitama Children's Medical Center in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (Lymph Clinic Japan). He has memberships in various societies such as Japan Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, International Microsurgery Club, World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery etc. He has received many international awards and recognition for his contribution in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has authored some publications in some reputable journals.
His research interest focuses on Pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgery, Lymphology, Lymphatic surgery, Chylothorax and chyloabdomen, Microsurgery, Super microsurgery, Pediatric trauma, burns.
