Dr.S.Narasimha Murthy is a Professor of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery at the University Of Mississippi School Of Pharmacy. Dr.Murthy has published over one hundred peer-reviewed research papers and edited two books on topical delivery of drugs. He is the recipient of several awards including the Cumberland Researcher of the year award from the University of Mississippi and Global Indus Technovator award from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr.Murthy serves on the Editorial Board of over fifteen journals including Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He is the Associate Editor of the journal Drug Development Industrial Pharmacy. He is also serving as Grant Reviewer to National Institutes of Health, USA and Government funding agencies of Italy, UAE, Portugal, and UK. Dr.Murthy is the Founder-Director of a non-profit research facility “Institute for Drug Delivery and Biomedical Sciences” in Bangalore, India. He has mentored 7 Ph.D students and five postdoctoral fellows so far. Currently, his research programs are funded by USFDA, NIH and Pharmaceutical companies.
