Seung-Yong Seong

Biography:

Seung-Yong Seong has completed his degree, M.S, and Ph.D. from Seoul National University College of Medicine in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Currently, he is working as a professor at Seoul National University College of Medicine in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. He authored many publications in esteemed journals. He is an active member of various societies such as Korean Society for Microbiology, Korean Society for Immunology, American Society for Microbiology, and American Society for Immunology. He received many national and international awards for his contribution in the field of microbiology and immunology.

Research Interests:

His research interests mainly focus on enhancing antigen delivery into DCs by using nanoparticles, identify tumor-specific target antigens to evoke successful cancer-specific immune responses, identify stem-cell specific antigens by comparing gene expression profiles between induced pluripotent stem cells and parental cells etc.
