Biography:

Dr. Dimitrios Dionysopoulos (DDS, MSc, Ph.D., and Research Associate) was born in Thessaloniki. He was graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Dentistry with the degree of DDS, completed his Post-graduate Program in Operative Dentistry. Later he received his Ph. D degree entitled “In vitro comparative study on the cariostatic effect of contemporary fluoride-releasing materials for conservative restorations” in Operative Dentistry from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After that, he became a Research Associate and a clinical instructor at the Department of Operative Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He carried out a wide research and has many publications (over 30) in SCI covered beside some local and international journals.

Research Interests:

Operative Dentistry, Preventive Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry, Dental Materials, Fluoride, Lasers in Dentistry, Tooth Bleaching and Adhesive Dentistry.
