Santha Muller

Biography:

Dr. Santha Muller was the founder Director of Medical Research Laboratory (MRL), and currently the Associate Professor in Health Sciences, at Fiji National University, Fiji. Born in Chennai, India, Dr. Muller earned her PhD in immunology from Madurai Kamaraj University India in 1996. On her sabbatical for two years 1999 and 2001, she visited Oberlin College, Ohio, USA and Luther College in Iowa, USA as visiting scholar and faculty and furthered her interest as a Post-doctoral Research Scientist at the Immunology department, School of Medicine, University of Wisconsin, Madison and University of California, Davis, USA till 2006. Dr. Muller has investigated many national and International research projects in India, Fiji, Japan and USA.

Research Interests:

Her research interests include T-Cell immunology specialization in flow cytometry and Immunotherapy. And her current research focuses on viral immuno-pathology which includes HIV/AIDs and related STIs, HTLV-1, Dengue and Yoga therapy.
