Dr. Sujith Kurian Joseph has completed his B.sc and M.sc in Zoology from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. He did his Ph. D. from Central Drug Research Institute and CSJM University, India. He completed his post doctoral training in Immunology and Vaccinology from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, Illinois, U.S and also from National Institutes of Health, U.S. He is currently working as a staff scientist in the Department of Pediatrics in Baylor College of Medicine, USA. He is currently involved in Translational research with Dr. Nabil Ahmed and Dr. Meenakshi Hegde, focusing on adoptive immunotherapy with gene-modified effector cells (CAR T-cells) to improve therapy for solid tumors.
