Armando Varela

Biography:

Armando Varela completed his B.sc in Chemistry and Microbiology from School of Chemistry of the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Chih. México. He did his M.S in Immunology from the University of Texas. He had also completed his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from New Mexico State University, USA. He is currently serving as Research Scientist at Border Biomedical Research Center, the University of Texas at El Paso. El Paso, TX. USA.

He is an active member of many societies. He received many awards and honors for his outstanding research work. His research is granted by the Border Biomedical Research Center and also International Collaborative Research Grant. He is a potential reviewer of many international journals. He authored many publications in internationally acclaimed journals. He attended many conferences and presented papers.

Research Interests:

His research interest mainly focuses on anti cancer studies, drug discovery, apoptosis, cell signaling.
