Wei Tian is an Assistant Professor at Tongji University's School of Automotive Studies in the Institute of Intelligent Vehicles, He holds a PhD and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering from Esslingen University of Applied Sciences in Germany and Tongji University in Shanghai, China. Wei Tian has won numerous awards for his research and has reviewed over 10 journals while serving as a session chair for several IEEE conferences. He is also a guest editor for Sustainability and has authored a book on novel solutions for robust visual tracking in traffic scenarios.
Wei Tian's research focus on developing robust object perception and behavior prediction for autonomous driving.
