Dr. Omar Cheikhrouhou is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at the Higher Institute of Computer Science of Mahdia (ISIMA), University of Monastir, Tunisia since August 2014. He is also a member of the CES Lab (Computer and Embedded Systems), ENIS, Tunisia since 2007 and the COINS (Cooperative Intelligent Networked Systems) research group, Saudi Arabia since 2010. He holds a Habilitation Universitaire degree in Design of Intelligent and secure Algorithms for Multi-robot Applications (2022) and a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the National School of Engineers of Sfax (ENIS), Tunisia (2012). He has also attended various training courses and schools and has participated in several conferences and workshops. Dr. Cheikhrouhou has taught at several universities and his main teaching subjects include Introduction to Computer Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, Communication Protocols, and more.
Dr. Omar Cheikhrouhou is an experienced researcher in computer science, specializing in cybersecurity and network security. He has worked on diverse research projects related to multi-robot coordination, wireless sensor network security, ad hoc networks security, internet of things security, blockchain technology, AI-driven cybersecurity, and internet of drone security. Dr. Cheikhrouhou has published books and book chapters on topics such as "Robot Path Planning and Cooperation" and "Secure Group Communication in Wireless Sensor Networks."
