Faisal Ghazy Khamis

Biography:

Dr. Faisal G. Khamis is a professional educator with more than twenty-two years of teaching, research, and community service. He is an Associate Professor of Statistics at the College of Business, Al Ain University of Science and Technology, UAE. He is a graduate of Baghdad University where he received his Bachelor and Master Degrees of Science in Statistics in 1992 and 1995 respectively. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from the National University of Malaysia in 2008. He obtained professional title: Accredited Professional Statistician™ awarded by the American Statistical Association.

He is specialized in structural equations modeling, spatial & temporal statistics, and mortality.

Research Interests:

His research interest mainly focuses on Applied Multivariate Statistics, Spatial and Temporal Statistics, Mortality, Sociology, Econometrics, Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis, Data Analysis, Forecasting, Data Mining, & Modeling
