Alexander E Berezin

Biography:

Dr. Alexander E. Berezin received his Ph.D. in 1994 from the State Medical University of Zaporozhye, Ukraine. He is currently a Professor of Medicine at the same institution. His research focuses on the fundamental study of biological markers and the development of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation strategies. Dr. Berezin has received several awards and honors for his work in heart failure research. He has published over 850 papers in reputed journals, authored 27 books/chapters, and serves as a member of various prestigious editorial boards.

Research Interests:

His research interest includes the fundamental study of biological markers of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, heart failure, diabetes mellitus, obesity, endothelial dysfunction, microvesicles, stem cells, the implementation of visualization procedures and percutaneous cardiovascular interventions, the development of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation, especially in the field affected heart failure and coronary artery disease, improving knowledge in vascular biology and regenerative medicine.
