Nicoletta Zoppi was born on June 17, 1966, in Italy, in Cremona, where she actually lives. Cremona is a little artistic city where the musicians Claudio Monteverdi and Antonio Stradivari lived and worked, and it is between Milan and Brescia. She attended classical studies and is interested in philosophy and figurative arts since youth, she currently reads Greek literature in ancient Greek language and listens and sings Gregorian chant. She loves classical music, violin, and musical theatre. Currently, Dr. Zoppi is working as an Associate Professor at the University of Brescia from 1989. She is a member of Amnesty International.
Her research interest mainly focuses in collagen and fibronectin assembly and functions in connective tissue remodeling activated in the hereditary connective tissue disorders with skin and vascular involvement
