Sini Sunny

Biography:

Dr. Sini Sunny is an accomplished biomedical science researcher with expertise in cardiovascular biology, diabetes management, and biomaterials screening. She is an American post doctoral grantee. She have extensive experience in analyzing next generation sequencing data from myocardium of transgenic mouse models experiencing reductive stress, Bioinformatics tools (R studio, Ingenuity Pathway Analysis, Panther pathway analysis etc.). In addition, she is an expert in non-invasive echocardiography imaging (Vevo2100 Visual Sonics Echocardiography) and electrocardiography in mouse models. In addition, she have experience on analyzing mass spec-proteomics data using proteomics software.

Research Interests:

Dr. Sini Sunny research involves next-generation sequencing data from myocardium of transgenic mouse models experiencing reductive stress, where she uses various bioinformatics tools, non-invasive echocardiography imaging, and electrocardiography. Dr. Sunny has extensive experience in mammalian cell cultures, plasmid/siRNA transfections, fluorescent and co-localization imaging, and other cutting-edge molecular biology techniques. She is proficient in preparing total RNA, synthesizing cDNA, performing real-time RT-PCR analysis, and applying bio-statistical tools to analyze the data. Additionally, Dr. Sunny is an expert in protein analyses, including immunoprecipitation and Western blotting of cell lysates and tissue homogenates.
