Xu Lisheng is a professor and PhD supervisor at Northeast University's School of Biomedical and Information Engineering. He is also the director of the Department of Biomedical Electronics. His research focuses on biomedical signal and image analysis, and medical computer-aided diagnosis technology. Currently, he leads 23 projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, doctoral programs of the Ministry of Education, and projects of the Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning Province, among others. Xu has received numerous accolades, including the titles of "Excellent Master's Instructor in Liaoning Province," "Excellent Postgraduate Supervisor in Shenyang," and "One Hundred Thousand High-end Talents Introduction Project" in Liaoning Province. He has also been recognized as a "Thousand Talents Level" and "Top Young Talents" in Liaoning Province. Xu has published 219 journal and conference papers, including 158 SCI indexed papers and 50 EI indexed papers. He has been granted 21 invention patents and has contributed to two international publications. In addition, Xu serves as the associate chief editor of two Chinese monographs, an associate chief editor of one textbook of Medical Informatics, and a co-editor of one textbook of Clinical Informatics. He is also the deputy editor of the first round of National Health and Family Planning Commission's "13th Five-Year Plan" teaching material for biomedical engineering major in national colleges and universities (Electronic Industry Press), "Principles and Methods of Comprehensive Intervention for Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation". Currently, Xu is editing the textbook "Medical Signal Processing and Engineering Practice" for the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan."
