Dr. Dimitrios L. Tsiachris is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the University of Athens Medical School in Greece. He is also the EP lab director at the Athens Heart Center in Athens, Greece since January 2015. Dr. Tsiachris is a scientific researcher at the University of Athens Medical School and a proctor for cryoablation for atrial fibrillation procedures in Greece and Europe. He has initiated cryoablation of atrial fibrillation in 10 EP Labs in Greece since 2013. He received his PhD in Clinical Research from the School of Medicine, National University of Athens, Greece in 2012. Dr. Tsiachris is a Fellow of EHRA since 12-2021 and a member of the Council on stroke and Council on Hypertension. He has published over 150 scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented over 500 papers in international congresses such as ESC, EHRA, ACC, AHA.
Dr. Tsiachris has expertise in catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, ablation of atrial fibrillation, electrophysiology, non-fluoroscopic mapping, non-invasive mapping, leadless pacing, cardiac pacing, biventricular pacing, leads extraction of PM-ICD, transseptal appendage closure, PFO occlusion, renal denervation, and resistant hypertension.
