Botchu V S Jyoti

Biography:

Dr. Botchu Vara Siva Jyoti is a Faculty at Space System Engineering (SSE) department, Aerospace Engineering Faculty, TU Delft. Her specialization is in the field of simplified hypergolic green propellant propulsion system. Before starting as a faculty at TU Delft, she worked as a Korea Young Research Fellow (KRF), KAIST, South Korea. This fellowship was awarded and support by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), Ministry of Science and ITC. Dr.Jyotis’ research responsibility as KRF fellow was to develop an advanced propulsion system using green gel hypergolic bipropellant for space application. Her KRF career helped her to secure a number of patents, awards and publications in a renowned journal.

Research Interests:

Her research interest is Advanced propulsion system, Micro-propulsion, Miniaturization, green propellant (mono, bi, hybrid), gel propellant (mono/bi) & hypergolicity for satellite and deep space activity.
