Mohd Azmier B Ahmad

Biography:

Mohd Azmier Bin Ahmad is currently working as an associate professor at School of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering at University Malaya in 2007, then he worked as Senior Lecturer for more than one year at the same institute. He was a Research leader at research university at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals and conference proceedings. He has received many honors and awards at national and international levels for his outstanding work in the field of chemical engineering. He is an associate member of the institution of chemical engineers, UK and an active member of water expert for working committee on research and innovation, MOSTI.

Research Interests:

His research interests include porous carbon material, pyrolysis, wastewater treatment and agro waste utilization.
