Dr. Simone Mocellin

Biography:

Dr. Simone Mocellin is Associate Professor of Surgery of the Department Surgery Oncology and Gastroenterology (DiSCOG) and Surgeon at the Surgical Oncology Unit of the Istituto Oncologico Veneto - Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico (IOV-IRCCS) in the University of Padova. He is an author of 150+ peer-reviewed research publications, book chapters, and abstract presentations as well as invited national and international presentations; He is member of the editorial board of several international peer-review medical journals and is editor of the Cochrane Colorectal Cancer Group within the frame of the Cochrane Collaboration (the worldwide most important organization for medical meta-analysis). Dr. Simone Mocellin was a tenured, Surgeon at the Surgery Branch of the University Hospital of Padova, as well as Surgical Fellow, Surgery Branch, National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland, USA. He is a recognized global expert in Surgery, in particular, Gastroenterology.
