Minho Moon

Biography:

Dr. Minho Moon is an Assistant Professor in Department of Biochemistry at College of Medicine, Konyang University. Dr. Moon received his B.Sc. in Biology from Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Korea. He obtained M.S. in Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, Kyung Hee University School of Medicine and Ph.D. in Department of Pharmacology, Kyung Hee University School of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He joined the laboratory for Alzheimer’s disease research at Seoul National University College of Medicine, Korea, where he acted as Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Assistant Professor. He was appointed as an Instructor in Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

Research Interests:

His research mainly focus on Elucidation of pathology or pathogenic mechanisms in human postmortem brain tissue and animal models of CNS disorders, Examination of stem cells trafficking in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's brain, Development of strategies to repair the damaged brain through enhancement of adult neurogenesis.
