Dr. Xinsong Du is a Ph.D. candidate and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Florida. He is also a UF Informatics Institute Fellow with research interests in biomedical informatics, computational metabolomics, machine learning, research software development, and research reproducibility improvement. Xinsong has developed strong technical skills in Python, Shell, R, Nextflow/Groovy, and other programming languages. He aspires to become an externally funded investigator focusing on biomedical informatics and health outcomes research.
Dr. Xinsong Du's main research interests include biomedical informatics, computational metabolomics, machine learning, research software development, and research reproducibility improvement.
