Dr. Chiranjeev Sharma is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, Virginia Commonwealth University. He obtained his PhD from the University of Delhi, India, where he focused on synthetic, spectroscopic, crystallographic, and thermal studies of antimalarial peroxides. He has extensive research experience in the design, synthesis, and purification of targeted cancer therapy, drug addiction, and blood-brain barrier penetration. He has also synthesized natural products for antibody drug conjugation and PROTACs as anticancer drugs.
