Sinerik Ayrapetyan

Biography:

Prof. Sinerik Ayrapetyan received his Ph.D. in Cell Biophysics from the Institute of Physiology of the Ukraine Academy of Sciences, Kiev, from 1966 to 1970. He is currently the Coordinator of the UNESCO Chair at the Life Sciences International Postgraduate Educational Center in Yerevan, Armenia. His research focuses on the metabolic regulation of cell function in both normal and pathological states.

Prof. Ayrapetyan is a distinguished member of numerous international societies, including the International Society of Invertebrate Neurobiology (ISIN), the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN), the European Society for Neurochemistry (ESN), the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), the International Union of Pure and Applied Biophysics (IUPAB), and the Bioelectromagnetics Society (BEMS). He also serves on the WHO International Advisory Committee on Electromagnetobiology and is the President of the "All Armenian Research Council". Prof. Ayrapetyan has authored seven international books and 115 research articles, significantly contributing to the field of cell biophysics.
