Biography:

Dr. Ashraf Youssef Nasr serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy & Embryology at Zagazig University, Egypt, contributing significantly to the institution's academic and research endeavors. Dr. Nasr holds a distinguished academic background, with degrees including MB.BCh, MSc, and MD in Anatomy & Embryology.

After completing his MD at Zagazig University, Dr. Nasr furthered his academic journey by teaching at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he contributed to the Department of Anatomy, Histology & Embryology. Throughout his career, Dr. Nasr has been deeply involved in both teaching and research, focusing on various aspects of anatomy and embryology.

Dr. Nasr's research contributions are evidenced by his impressive publication record, with over 30 articles published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals such as Folia Morphologica, Anatomic Science International, Cancer Cell International, and others. He has also actively participated as an editor and reviewer for more than 10 peer-reviewed medical journals, demonstrating his commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and scholarship.

Furthermore, Dr. Nasr's expertise has been recognized internationally, as he is frequently invited to serve as a speaker and faculty member at scientific conferences organized by universities across America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. His contributions to the field have earned him numerous research awards, including recognition from the Anatomy & Embryology Departments at Zagazig and King Abdulaziz Universities. Through his dedicated efforts, Dr. Nasr continues to make significant contributions to the fields of anatomy, embryology, and medical education.

Research Interests:

Dr. Ashraf Youssef Nasr specialises in Anatomy & Embryology with particular interest in clinical, experimental & surgical anatomy, Teratology and Anomalies Toxicology, and Histology, Histopathology& Ultrastructure, Immunohistochemistry and Neuro-anatomy. His main research interests are variations, teratology and the toxic effects on the structures of the different body organs and systems including gastro-intestinal, CNS, CVS and musculoskeletal. He is particularly keen in collaborating with many specialties to innovate diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for different diseases.
