Ivan V. Maksimovich

Biography:

Dr. Ivan V. Maksimovich is professor, who at the present time is an Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences, is a member of the Russian Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons, the Russian Scientific Society of Specialists in Endovascular Diagnosis and Treatment, the Alzheimer's Association International Society for Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment (ISTAART). Dr. Maksimovich defended his Ph.D. thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the subject: "Transluminal Laser Angioplasty in the Treatment of Ischemic Brain Lesions". Ivan V. Maksimovich graduated from the 1st Moscow Medical Institute named after I.M. Sechenov (Moscow, Russia) specializing in cardiovascular surgery. After the graduation he worked in leading research institutes and clinics of the country. Dr. Maksimovich is the Head of the Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases named after Most Holy John Tobolsky Moscow, Russia.

Research Interests:

His research interest manly involves is the treatment of vascular diseases of the brain, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Binswanger's Disease.
