Chang-Sik Ha

Biography:

Prof. Chang-Sik Ha received his PhD. in Chemical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) (1987). He has joined at the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, PNU as a professor since 1982. He was a visiting scholar for a year four times in USA including Stanford University (1997) and UCLA (2011). He served as the Director of the Pioneer Research Center for Nanogrid Materials (2010-2016). He served also as a Vice President of Pusan National University in 2012, an Honorary Professor of the University of Queensland, Australia (2013-2015), and the President of the Society of Adhesion and Interface, Korea (2013-2014). Recently, he was appointed as the University Distinguished Professor. He was elected to both the Korea Academy of Science and Technology (KAST) and the National Engineering Academy of Korea(NEAK) in 2004.

Research Interests:

Polymers, Organic/Inorganic Nanohybrid Materials, and Mesoporous Materials for drug delivery, hydrogels and other biomedical applications and so on.
