Terry Bowersock has a BA in Biology-Psychology from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, a PhD in Comparative and Experimental Medicine from The University of Tennessee - Knoxville, and a DVM degree from the Ohio State University. He was Veterinary Dairy Practitioner at Elm Valley Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Terry worked as Associate professor of Microbiology at Purdue University. He was a Senior Research Scientist at Animal Health Discovery Research, Pharmacia and Upjohn Corporation, Kalamazoo. His collaboration involved in the oral administration of antigens, vaccines resulted in several patents in oral vaccine delivery technologies. He was a member of the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists. Dr. Terry wrote many Book chapters on Vaccines and Controlled release drug delivery. He is now primarily involved in evaluation of vaccines for animals, as well as in the evaluation of alternative delivery technologies as an Associate Director of Global Biological Research and Development at Zoetis, Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA.
His research interests mainly focus on Vaccinology, Vaccine and Drug Delivery Methods, Bacterial Diseases, Controlled release drug delivery.
