Chiranjeev Sharma

Biography:

Dr. Chiranjeev Sharma is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, Virginia Commonwealth University. He obtained his PhD from the University of Delhi, India, where he focused on synthetic, spectroscopic, crystallographic, and thermal studies of antimalarial peroxides. He has extensive research experience in the design, synthesis, and purification of targeted cancer therapy, drug addiction, and blood-brain barrier penetration. He has also synthesized natural products for antibody drug conjugation and PROTACs as anticancer drugs.

Research Interests:

Dr. Chiranjeev Sharma's research interests include the development of novel drugs and therapies for targeted cancer therapy, drug addiction, and blood-brain barrier penetration. He is also interested in the synthesis of natural products for antibody drug conjugation and the synthesis of PROTACs as anticancer drugs. His expertise includes spectroscopic and analytical techniques, X-ray crystallography, molecular docking, and thermal analysis. He is a member of several scientific associations and serves on the editorial boards of several scientific journals.
