Dragan Mijakoski, MD, Ph.D., the specialist in Occupational Medicine, sub-specialist in Pulmology and Allergology, and Scientific Research Associate at the Chair of Occupational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”, Skopje is currently employed at the Institute of Occupational Health of RM - Skopje, WHO Collaborating Center for Occupational Health. He finished his Master studies in 2009 and in 2016 he acquired the degree Ph.D. by successful defending of his Ph.D. thesis related to burnout and occupational health in health care workers. He was engaged in numerous national and international workshops in occupational health, public health, medical education, health care workers, work-related infectious and psychosocial hazards, and respiratory and allergic diseases in workers. His everyday work is related with diagnostics and treatment of occupational and work-related diseases as well as education of students of medicine, nurses, physiotherapists and speech therapists. He actively participated in the development and application of national and international projects.
His research interest is mainly focussed on Occupational Medicine, Public Health, Respiratory Medicine.
