Vittorio Checchi

Biography:

Dr. Vittorio Checchi received the degree from Dental School in 2006 with a thesis on two different types of bone graft in materials used in post-extraction sockets. He finished his Ph.D. in Biomedical technologies applied to dental sciences in 2010 with a thesis comparing short implants vs longer implants placed after bone augmentation, in posterior atrophic mandibles in 2010. He attended the Periodontology and Implantology Dept of The Medical School of Columbia University (New York City, NY) in 2009. He is Assistant Professor at the Dental School of the University of Trieste, Trieste (Italy). Since the beginning of 2016, he also became part of the Professors of the Master in Esthetic Restorative Dentistry at the Dental School of Bologna University, directed by Prof. Breschi. He wrote 54 scientific articles: 13 in Italian language and 41 in English, with a total impact factor of 43.61 and an H-index of 10.
