Biography:

Simone Cecilio Hallak Regalo is graduated in Dentistry from the University of Londrina (1988), Masters in Biology and Oral Pathology, in the area of Surface Electromyography from the State University of Campinas (FOP) (2000), PhD in Biology and Oral Pathology, in the area of Surface Electromyography from the State University of Campinas (FOP) (2001). Full Professor at FORP/USP since 2016 in Department of Morphology, Physiology and Basic Pathology, Faculty of Dentistry of Ribeirao Preto, University of São Paulo. Responsible for the Museum of Anatomy "Prof. Edgard Ignacio's FORP/USP. He is leading the research group of Electromyography and Multidisciplinary Research Center in Bone Tissue of FORP/USP. He is the Head of the Laboratory of Electromyography "Prof. Dr. Mathias Vitti” FORP/USP.

Research Interests:

Dentistry, Anatomy, Ethics, Laser and Pathology, acting on the following topics related to Electromyography, skeletal muscle, muscle disorders, chew, bite force, macroscopic and microscopicanatomy, laser dentistry, acupuncture in dentistry, bone and liver toxicity of medicinal plants
