Dr. Mohamed Elzohairy is an experienced consultant and lecturer in orthopedic surgery, currently serving as an assistant professor at Zagazig University Faculty of Medicine, Egypt. He graduated with honors from Zagazig University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and obtained his master's degree in orthopedic surgery in 1998. He completed his MD degree in orthopedic surgery from Zagazig University Faculty of Medicine in 2005, specializing in adult joint reconstruction after extensive training and clinical fellowship at Toronto East General Hospital, Toronto University, Canada.
Dr. Elzohairy has a wide range of expertise, including arthroplasty, arthroscopic knee sports injuries reconstruction, and management of trauma cases, with a particular focus on joint replacement surgeries for the knee and hip, including both primary and complex revision cases. He served as an Orthopedic consultant surgeon in Saudi Arabia for three years, providing tertiary care services in joint arthroscopic and replacement surgeries, as well as emergency management for trauma patients.
He is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Canada, since 2001, and actively participates in teaching medical students at Zagazig Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Elzohairy has published numerous scientific papers in national and international journals, contributed to international books, and presented articles and lectures at various national and international courses and conferences. He is affiliated with several professional societies and committees, including the Egypt Medical Syndicate and the Egyptian Orthopedic Association. Dr. Elzohairy is recognized as an orthopedic consultant by the Saudi Council for Health Specialists and the health authorities in Egypt.
