Biography:

Dr. Scicchitano Pietro completed his degree in Medicine and Surgery with maximum votes, discussing a thesis entitled “Evaluation of cardiovascular risk in patients suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome” and degree of Instructor in Basic Life Support and Defibrillation. He is a member of the directive nucleo of Hypertension, Prevention and Rehabilitation Group of Italian Society of Cardiology. He is also an active member of the Membership Working Group on Peripheral Circulation - European Society of Cardiology and of the member of the Working Group on Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology - European Society of Cardiology, Working Group on Acute Cardiac Care - European Society of Cardiology. He did his Internship in the rehabilitation cardiovascular center “Istituto Codivilla-Putti” – Cortina D’Ampezzo, Italy, and also did Internship in Universitares Herzzentrum Hamburg – Klinik und Poliklinik fur Allgemeine und Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Ultrasound Imaging and Echocardiography Laboratory. He is author many articles in International Scientific Journals; with 67 abstracts published in International Journals; 3 chapters of scientific book.

Research Interests:

Pietro research interests mainly focus on Nephrogenic Diabetes Insipidus, Diabetes, cardiology.
