Kayanush Kai J. Aryana

Biography:

Dr. Kayanush J. Aryana is a Professor in Dairy Foods Technology at the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center, USA. He received many awards and honors for his contribution and recognition in the field of food science and technology. He was recently awarded the International Dairy Foods Association Research Award in Dairy Foods Processing by the American Dairy Science Association in 2014, and Milk Industry Foundation Teaching award in Dairy Manufacturing by the American Dairy Science Association in 2013. He authored many publications in national and international journals. He attended many conferences and presentations. He is an active member in various societies such as the American Dairy Science Association, Institute of Food Technologists, Phi Tau Sigma and Gamma Sigma Delta.

Research Interests:

His research focuses on functional dairy foods, dairy foods microstructure, dairy ingredient functionality, probiotic characteristics. Culture bacteria and their attributes related to food manufacturing and quality, Non-thermal processing technologies.
