Biography:

Dr. Fahim Shaltout is professor of Meat Hygiene, Department of Food Control, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Moshtohor, Benha University, Egypt. He is member of the Egyptian Organization for Standerization and Quality and Member EUPC (Egyptian Universities Promotion Committees) at Supreme Council Universities Egypt Higher Education Committee 102 b (2013-2016). He completed his Ph.D. of Meat Hygiene in Zagazig University, Egypt. Master of Meat Hygiene (M.V.Sc) in Zagazig University-Benha Branch, Egypt. Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (B. V. Sc.), Zagazig University-Benha Branch, Egypt.

His professional positions, from March 2006- Present: Professor of Meat Hygiene, Department of Food Control, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Moshtohor, Benha University, Egypt. March 2001: Assistant Professor of Meat Hygiene, Department of Food Control, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Moshtohor, Benha University, Egypt. February 1996: Lecturer of Meat Hygiene, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Benha University, Egypt. January 1992: Assistant lecturer of Meat Hygiene, Department of Food Control, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Moshtohor, Benha University, Egypt. His Professional Societies and Associations, A member of the Egyptian Organization for Standardization, A member of the Egyptian Society for Food Inspection, A member of the African Society for Mutagens, A member of Egyptian Association for Food Microbiology, A member of the Egyptian Veterinary Medical Association 2009. Member of the editorial board of Journal of Dairy, Veterinary & Animal Research, EC Nutrition and Nutrition and Food Technology USA.

Meat Hygiene, Food Safety, Food Microbiology, Chemical residues in Food. Meat Technology, Food Chemistry, and Mycotoxins in Food
